Lord’s Chosen Bans Tithes, Offerings and Gifts.

In a society dominated by Materialism, reveals the current state of the church, where the world now lives in the church and the church lives in the world, where the good, the bad, and the ugly constitute the modern day church. A repulsive trend that is now the standard in most churches.

Regardless of this trend, there are still a few preachers who refuse to bow to the god of mamon and godly wealth. One of such Notable men of God is pastor Lazarus Muoka, The General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, who recently placed a ban on the collection of Offerings, tithes and gifts In the church.

Believers’ Voice Nigeria news monitored the event , and reports that, the Ban was announced by Pastor Muoka during the conclusion of a two-day Easter retreat themed “God’s Covenant of Peace and Blessings” at the ministry’s headquarters at Ijesha in Lagos, Nigeria.

in his words , Pastor Muoka said; please don’t bring your tithe, offering, and other gifts to us, because we don’t need them.”

“We are only interested in soul-winning, not such money which is not pleasing to God,” he continued.

“There is no shortcut to heaven, unless through righteousness and holiness,” stressed Muoka.

“We are not part of those who believe that it doesn’t matter how you made your money. Here, we are interested in doing the things that will please God,” he added.

“When you have a covenant with God, he will give you peace and abundant blessings, which no one can give,” charged Muoka.

On the issue of divorce and remarriage, he said, “You should not divorce your wife or husband because the Bible instructed that a man should have one wife and a woman, one husband.”

“It is a sin to divorce and if you have divorced your wife and married another, go and bring her back and send the second one packing.

Also, as a woman, if you have left your first husband and married another man, pack your load and return to your former husband, because it is a sin before God to divorce. Remember that a sinner is not a Christian and a Christian is not a sinner,” he concluded
