In a powerful message shared during a recent Sunday service, Bishop David Abioye recounted extraordinary divine manifestations that took place right before the congregation’s eyes. According to a video posted by Church Gist, the respected bishop spoke passionately about the undeniable move of God witnessed over the past two Sundays.
Bishop Abioye recalled a stunning testimony of healing that occurred during the services. A worshipper who had been diagnosed with HIV received an instruction during one of the sermons: to reject the reality of the sickness and go back for another medical checkup. Stepping out in bold faith, the individual obeyed and the results came back negative, confirming a miraculous healing.
“Last two Sundays, as I was preaching on the altar, fire was coming down,” Bishop Abioye said. He described seeing visible flames descending during the service, a supernatural event that he initially tried to ignore. “It’s not that I didn’t see it. I didn’t want to see it. But dominion doesn’t mean you won’t be challenged,” he explained, drawing a parallel between faith and the act of confronting contrary realities.
Bishop Abioye emphasized that even God Himself confronted darkness at creation, choosing not to accept what He saw but to command His divine intention instead. “God saw darkness. God said, ‘No, this is not what I want,” he reminded the congregation. “It’s not as if God didn’t see darkness.”
The bishop attributed the spiritual atmosphere and miraculous signs to rigorous spiritual training and steadfastness in faith. He urged believers to remain calm, confident, and unshaken in the face of opposition, declaring that true dominion is not the absence of challenges but the ability to triumph over them.
