The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Welfare Ministry has recently made a significant impact on the lives of its members across Nigeria. Through various initiatives, the ministry has provided tools, food, scholarships, and other items to empower members economically and address their physical needs.
The church distributed industrial sewing machines, grinding machines, deep freezers, and cash gifts to members to enhance their businesses. Additionally, the ministry provided free fish farming training, complete with starter packs for participants to launch their own ventures. They also trained members in bakery services, giving them starter packs to start businesses in the baking industry.
The MFM Welfare Ministry continued its humanitarian efforts by paying school fees for children of deceased pastors and offering scholarships to indigent students. The church also helps students with hostel fees and distributes free school bags to students across the country.
Pastor Seyon Faton, head of the Welfare Ministry, explained that these initiatives were put in place by Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, the General Overseer of MFM, who believes in addressing both the spiritual and physical needs of church members. The ministry aims to lift members out of poverty, make them financially independent, and offer skill acquisition training in various fields such as automobile, fashion designing, fish farming, and baking.
As part of their outreach, the Welfare Ministry also provided food items such as rice, spaghetti, and salt, and distributed wares and domestic items during the Easter celebrations. These efforts are part of the church’s ongoing commitment to improving the well-being of its members, regardless of their background or qualifications.
