The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), Dr. Paul Enenche, has announced a decisive shift in the ministry’s mode of worship by discontinuing the live broadcast of church services.

The announcement was made during the Sunday service, where Dr. Enenche cited Hebrews 10:25 as scriptural authority for the move. The verse, which urges believers not to forsake the gathering of the saints, formed the basis of his message encouraging physical participation in corporate worship.

According to the respected cleric, virtual worship through satellite or online platforms will no longer be promoted by the church. He stressed that while technology served a purpose during the COVID-19 pandemic and in special circumstances, it should not become a substitute for in-person fellowship.

Dr. Enenche explained that the physical church environment remains critical for spiritual growth, impartation, and accountability, elements he said are often lost in virtual worship experiences.

The decision is expected to impact millions of viewers who tune in weekly from across the globe. However, Dr. Enenche expressed confidence that the return to in-person worship would deepen believers’ spiritual commitment and restore the sanctity of communal gatherings.
