The General Overseer of World Evangelism Bible Church (WEBIC), Prophet Dr. Samson Ayorinde, has said that with the present situation and tough time in Nigeria, the only solution is to reawaken and revive souls.
According to him, “We know that the country is going through a tough time. But, with the moving power of God, the unity and cooperation of churches, there will be a rebirth of a new Nigeria of our dream.”
Prophet Ayorinde made this remark through his representative, Rev. Kunle Adeoye, the General Evangelist of WEBIC, during a meeting with a group of church ministers and leaders in Lagos Island towards the preparation of a three-day Anointed Fire Crusade organised by the Lagos Island East of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in collaboration with World Evangelism Incorporation Worldwide (WEVIW) scheduled for Wednesday November 13 to Friday November 15, 2024 at Onikan Stadium, Lagos.
While seeking the support and synergy of the church leaders and ministers to mobilise their church members and the public for the crusade, Rev. Kunle Adeoye said the crusade is going to be a great revival, and re-awaken programme to rebirth the community, refocused the residents, and the general society.
He said the goal and aim of the crusade is to have a great conversion of souls, redemption of men and women in and around Lagos Island, and also to revive all churches under CAN, and to encounter the power of God’s healing, deliverance and breakthrough for everyone that will attend the crusade.
Adeoye called for total participation and commitment of churches, ministers of the gospel, church workers and other Christians in Lagos Island to ensure a large turnout of souls for harvest.
He charged the group of church leaders to be prepared for a new experience with God, because God is yearning, looking, and stretching out His hand to reach us.
“Everyone coming for the crusades should prepare because it’s going to be a great time of fresh meeting of God with His people,” he stated.
Prophet Ayorinde and the other ministers of God are expected to grace the crusade with 2000-member mass choirs and other gospel artists that will minister during the crusade.
In his remark, the Lagos Island East CAN Coordinator, Dr. Jona
than Bamidele-Oshin, stated that the idea of the crusade was inspired by God.
He said that God inspired the crusade and looking at the present situation in our nation, we need God’s intervention and visitation to overcome the challenges of a downturn economy, insecurity, kidnapping, killings, corruption, human abuse, and other widespread crime that has bedeviled our nation, society, and homes.
Dr. Bamidele-Oshin, rolling out plans for the crusade, called on well-meaning Nigerians to come and assist the crusade financially, morally and spiritually to succeed, and impact lives spiritually, materially, and medically. He called for volunteer workers, especially medical professionals, pharmacists, nurses, and carefree givers.
In his submission, the Chairman of the planning Committee of the crusade, Apostle Daniel Olalekan Opetunde, confirmed that the scheduled open crusade is a serious business of soul-winning, apart from the free medical service, give away food items and evening sessions fire revival, Thursday and Friday morning are earmarked for ministers’ conference.
The expectations at the crusade are high and people are awaiting the manifestation of God. “By the grace of God, we are expecting the greater move of God than before at this year’s Lagos Island Fire Crusade.
“There will be liberation in Lagos Island, spreading to the entire Lagos State, and Nigeria. We trust and know that God will do more than before in our midst, and our community,” Opetunde said.
