Popular gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey is preparing to make a significant appearance at the upcoming U.S. Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast, scheduled for January 20, 2025, at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Bassey recently announced the details of the event on social media, emphasizing its status as a non-official, faith-based gathering. He stated, “The Presidential Prayer Breakfast is a non-official and non-governmental event. It is a faith-based platform where intercessory prayers and worship are offered to God on behalf of the office of the president and government of the nation.”
Highlighting the tradition surrounding the breakfast, Bassey mentioned that it occurs every four years, preceding the inauguration ceremony. He noted, “This event is held once in four years preceding the inauguration ceremony as a breakfast prayer meeting ahead of every new administration. Over the years, it has been attended by leaders and dignitaries from around the world.”
The breakfast will be hosted by Rev. Marrie Turner and will feature performances from notable ministers, including Dr. Mario Bramnick, Dr. Mike Kingsley, Rebecca Macchi, and Ben Berquam.
